Trésors de la Bande Dessinée franco-belge

Collection de Monsieur M

Presentation

Huberty & Breyne is offering fans of the 9th art a truly historic exhibition. From 11 January to 16 February 2019, the gallery is showing fifty or so of the most beautiful works from the collection of that enlightened Comic Strip enthusiast Monsieur M. These treasures of the Franco-Belgian golden age include some veritable museum pieces, on show to the public for the first time, the most iconic of which are without doubt three covers in the flagship series created by Hergé: Tintin in America, The Valley of the Cobras: The Adventures of Jo, Zette and Jocko, and The Exploits of Quick and Flupke.
Lucky Luke (Morris), The Smurfs (Peyo), Gaston Lagaffe (Franquin), Spirou and Fantasio (Franquin), Achille Talon (Greg), Alix (Martin), Blueberry (Giraud), Gil Jourdan (Tillieux), Bob and Bobette (Vandersteen), Jerry Spring (Jijé) and Largo Winch (Francq) are among the other iconic figures rubbing shoulders in this exceptional exhibition of original plates and illustrations!
