Presentation

From 7 September to 12 October 2019, the Huberty & Breyne Gallery has the pleasure of hosting an exhibition in Paris dedicated to the works of animator, illustrator and author Benoît Feroumont, who is something of a Renaissance man.
His series Le Royaume – the latest volume of which has just appeared following pre-publication in Spirou magazine – has won over children and adults alike with its whacky fantasy universe set in medieval times – a kingdom where anything can happen.
Anne the tavern keeper is lovely enough to melt our hearts; François, blacksmith turned member of the king’s guard, has us laughing out loud over his gaffes; and we shudder at the outbursts from the cantankerous queen...
Benoît Feroumont has spent a great deal of time working with digital graphics, but for Le Royaume de Blanche-Fleur he returned to his drawing table to produce a series of magnificent original plates in India ink.
This exhibition is an opportunity to discover the full range of his talents, a small room being reserved – quite independently of the main exhibition – for an informed audience to admire graphic works in an entirely different genre and style...
