To mark the publication of New York Cannibals by Éditions du Lombard, Huberty & Breyne's Paris gallery is showcasing a selection of original panels by François Boucq.
Boucq, a recipient of the Grand Prix d'Angoulême, brilliantly captures the unique atmosphere of this thriller by Jerome Charyn, set in 1990s New York.
Working conventionally in black Indian ink (using both pen and brush), François Boucq has made elegant additions to his panels by rendering his characters tattoos as it were in purple ink. The effects are truly remarkable.
Opening : Thursday 3 September, 11.00 am to 8.00 pm
