Presentation

Yves Cotten is an illustrator with a sensitive and poetic approach to drawing, a Breton artist with more than one string to his bow who switches effortlessly between press cartoons and children's book illustration. In Jour de Haïku, published by Locus Solus in 2018, Cotten has interpreted a series of short Japanese poems in drawings of the utmost delicacy, a deft pencil stroke, a delicate touch of watercolour all he needs to create exquisite images laden with emotion. This is an exhibition, in our Espace Rencontres in Avenue Matignon, that will amply repay a visit.

Private view: Thursday 3 February from 7pm to 8.30pm, in the presence of the artist.

Signing sessions: Saturday 5 February and Saturday 26 February
