PARIS | Miromesnil

7 Jul > 27 Aug 2022

Presentation

From 7 July to 26 August 2022, the Huberty & Breyne – Miromesnil gallery is delighted to be hosting a collective exhibition bringing together a series of artistic impressions.

15 artists are showing limited-edition works responding to the theme of summer and, more specifically, lyrics by Serge Gainsbourg, as sung by Anna Karina – “sous le soleil exactement, pas à côté, pas n’importe où” (“exactly under the sun, not to one side or the other, not any old place”).

Visitors to the exhibition will be treated to works by Philippe Geluck, including homages to Christo and Lucio Fontana and statuettes of his Cat; seductive images of women drawn by Milo Manara and Jacques de Loustal; landscapes – beaches, harbours and villages – by François Avril, André Julliard and Franck Le Gal, and the luminous cityscapes of Miles Hyman.

Also on display will be a collection of Huberty & Breyne catalogues dedicated to the artists in the exhibition and to some of the gallery’s most beautiful exhibitions to date.

Works available to view online from Friday 8 July.

The gallery will be closed from 1 to 15 August.
