Presentation

Edmond Baudoin takes us in search of the strange artistic genius whose life and work he explores with his usual graphic brilliance.
Baudoin uses various devices in order to get to grips with his subject: ants debate the artist's temperament, a couple on the beach at Cadaqués hold forth about his career as a painter, and finally Baudoin in person infiltrates the artist's studio, creating an intimate picture of this singular personage and of his own responses in coming face to face with the great man.
"Dalí par Baudoin" offers an opportunity to discover the genesis of a major artist of the last century and a subtle and penetrating exploration of his rich iconography; it demystifies Salvador Dalí, putting the spotlight on the man himself.
