Presentation
Olivier Ledroit was born in Meaux on 3 June 1969. After studying for two years at the Duperré School of Applied Arts in Paris, he started drawing for various role play magazines.
Between 1989 and 1994, he produced the drawings for Les Chroniques de la Lune Noire, a comics series scripted by Froideval, following this with new stories and adaptations such as Xoco (1994-1995), Ennemis mortels (1997) and La Porte écarlate (1998). In 1999, he and Jacques Collin founded Éditions Nickel, which would continue to publish Ledroit's own albums and those of other fantasy writers up until 2015.
He collaborated with the English comics writer Pat Mills on Sha (1996-1999) and Requiem Chevalier Vampire (2000-2012) and around the same time contributed to the multiple-author series Les Contes de l'Ankou and L'Univers des dragons. After illustrating several books, in 2014 Ledroit returned to comic strip, launching the series Wika, published by Glénat with scripts by Thomas Day. He also worked on the video game series Heroes of Might and Magic, published by Ubisoft.
