The 13 May sale will begin with the auctioning of 102 panoramic drawings produced by some hundred or so celebrated contemporary artists, with estimates ranging from 400 to 4,000€. This project, the initiative of Alain HUBERTY and Marc BREYNE in 2015, brings together a series of unique works each of which has been created in a 30 x 90 cm format.
“What Marc Breyne and I wanted,” says Alain Huberty, “was to coordinate the artists not in terms of a theme but in terms of a format. By letting us into their imaginary worlds, today for the first time these artists are offering us a panoramic vision of the 9th Art.”
