Vandersteen: an entire album for sale
The Huberty & Breyne Gallery is holding an historic auction, devoted exclusively to the great Flemish author Willy Vandersteen, creator of those famous heroes Bob and Bobette. What is special about this auction is that what is on offer is virtually the whole of the album La Kermesse aux singes (53 of the 55 plates), one of the finest examples of its author’s humour, inventiveness and narrative verve.
