Eighty works co-created by forty of the greatest exponents of Comic Strip working in tandem with forty of the most talented contemporary artists. 
This bold artistic initiative, bringing together two distinct creative universes, has produced a series of astonishing and eclectic works where different artistic visions, techniques and areas of interest combine on a single support. The brainchild of the exhibition’s curator, Christian Balmier, the project elicited enthusiastic contributions from Vladimir VELICKOVIC & Enki BILAL, Claude VIALLAT & François AVRIL, BEN Vautier & Edmond BAUDOIN, Hervé DI ROSA & Marc HARDY, Gérard LE CLOAREC & Philippe DRUILLET, Gilles BARBIER & Marc-Antoine MATHIEU, and Speedy GRAPHITO & Franck MARGERIN.
Given the “hybrid” nature of the works, the experts elected to start the bidding at 2,000 euros per lot. Among the eighty creations on offer, collectors will have the opportunity to acquire eight cartoon plates conceived by Ben Vautier & Edmond Baudouin, a sprawling installation by Gilles Barbier & Marc Antoine Mathieu, the collaborative effort of Claude Viallat & François Avril, a work of sheer simplicity and elegance, and the “San Sebastien” revisited by Kosta Kulundzic and Tanino Liberatore. Of particular interest are the two works by Vladimir VELICKOVIC & Enki BILAL, that of Gérard LE CLOAREC & Philippe DRUILLET and the giant canvas by Ricardo MOSNER & Patrice KILLOFFER.
Also on offer are paintings by Charlélie & Alëxone and Speedy GRAPHITO & Frank MARGERIN representing a brief sortie into the world of street art.
