BRUXELLES | Châtelain

21 Jun > 27 Jul 2024

Presentation

The Glénat publishing house was founded in 1969 and celebrates its 55th birthday this year. To mark the occasion, the Huberty & Breyne gallery is hosting a collective exhibition of paintings, drawings and original comic book plates at its Brussels venue, in place du Châtelain, from 21 June to 27 July 2024. The collection, featuring some of the best-known exponents of the comic genre, gives pride of place to authors published by Glénat. This exhibition, which takes us from the world of Lone Sloane to that of Mickey and Baudelaire, and from heroic fantasy to the story of Freemasonry, is an invitation to dream and a unique opportunity to discover a diverse range of works that rely on a wealth of graphic techniques, employing both black and white and colour, along with supports and formats that offer some surprises.
