Hervé Di Rosa's imagination draws heavily on the counter culture, graffiti art and the comic strip.
His paintings are littered with fairytale settings, animal robots, big-mouthed Cyclops and Punkish superheroes like so many loving tributes to the magazines of his youth.
Originator of the concept of "art modeste", Hervé Di Rosa is the Géo Trouvetou of the visual arts. For this exhibition entitled "Belgium Dreams", the artist plunders the imagery and colours of the ninth art in the company of his whacky Renés.
