The Gallery is hosting an important retrospective showcasing some thirty large-format drawings and pastels by the Italian artist Silvio Cadelo.
This comic strip author and creator of the famous "Envie de Chien" is a multi-talented artist, having turned his hand to numerous creative activities in his time, including poster design, stage directing, acting and painting.
Cadelo has a highly developed sense of colour, curve and movement, of the image in its entirety, and his precise drawing style captures the details of a vast world of the imagination.
The exhibition "Trans-BD1" showcases his work as both artist and illustrator and reveals creations imbued with a sense of otherness in which imaginary beings mingle and metamorphose in reinvented space.
