The Huberty & Breyne Gallery in Brussels is delighted to be showcasing the work of Belgian artist Ever Meulen in an exhibition, which runs from 10 September to 9 October 2021, devoted to the Brussels Travel Book produced by the artist for Louis Vuitton.

Huberty & Breyne is offering Meulen's works for sale following an earlier exhibition of the artist's work, held at MAD - Home of Creators during the summer. Brussels has been a source of inspiration to Ever Meulen throughout his career and this exhibition features a total of 120 illustrations, all referencing some iconic element of Europe's great capital, from the landmark Atomium building to Tintin and Magritte, not forgetting the architectural wonders of the Grand-Place and the Stoclet Palace, the Vilvoorde Viaduct and Villa

« I chose to pay homage to Brussels because I owe everything to that city », Ever Meulen says proudly. « My heroes René Magritte, Hergé, Jacques Brel, Eddy Merckx, Jacky Ickx and Arno; but modernity likewise. I enjoy drawing things I know well: that's why I chose Brussels. »
