In partnership with Nespresso, National Geographic, a key reference resource in the field of science and exploration, is putting on an exhibition entitled "Beyond the Bean" the record of a journey into the heart of the coffee plantations of Zimbabwe, Colombia and Indonesia. Photographs by Rena Effendi, supplemented by articles and numerous testimonies, shine a light on the lives of those shadowy figures - men and women - responsible for producing your Nespresso coffee.
