To mark the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Morris, creator of Lucky Luke, the Huberty & Breyne gallery is hosting a special retrospective exhibition.

Huberty & Breyne has scheduled the event for this coming winter, in Brussels. From the 1st of December 2023 to the 27th of January 2024, the gallery will be hosting a - non-commercial - retrospective exhibition of 100 plates and signed drawings by Morris, author of the famous comic series Lucky Luke, in celebration of the hundredth anniversary of the Belgian cartoonist's birth. This museum-quality exhibition lifts the veil on the evolution of Morris's drawing and the purity of his style and offers visitors important insights into the Franco-Belgian comics tradition.

Ter gelegenheid van de 100e geboortedag van Morris, bedenker van Lucky Luke, presenteert Huberty & Breyne een nooit eerder vertoonde overzichtstentoonstelling.

Huberty & Breyne zet deze winter dit evenement op poten in Brussel. Van1 december 2023 tot en met 27 januari 2024 onthult de galerie een retrospectieve tentoonstelling - niet commercieel bedoeld - met 100 platen en tekeningen gesigneerd door de kunstenaar. Dit om de 100e geboortedag te vieren van Morris, de Belgische auteur van het beroemde stripverhaal Lucky Luke. Deze erfgoedtentoonstelling op museaal niveau onthult hoe Morris' tekenkunst is geëvolueerd en zet de puurheid van zijn werk in de kijker.
