Running concurrently in Paris and Brussels, this sale will be unveiling original plates, preparatory sketches, comic strips in Indian ink, covers, gouaches and watercolours by some of the best-known names of the Ninth Art.
Of particular interest – among the many sought-after works on offer – is an iconic Uderzo plate created in 1969 for the album Astérix en Hispanie (Asterix in Spain), estimated at 90,000 euros.
Gaston gaffe enthusiasts will particularly appreciate an unpublished gag created by Franquin for the album Lagaffe nous gâte. Printed in 1970, in Indian ink, the drawing is estimated at between 60,000 and 80,000 euros.
Fans of the series XIII will be able to purchase an extraordinary Vance panel taken from the album Là où va l'indien, estimated at between 7,000 and 8,000 euros, in addition to the cover of volume five in the Largo Winch series, estimated at 20,000 euros.
