Following on from the Rahan sale, a complete catalogue is devoted to one of the great exponents of French humour: Gotlib, that genius of graphics, inking and lettering who pushed back the frontiers of humour on so many levels. Included in the sale is Gotlib's famous self-portrait in the style of A Clockwork Orange.
Aside from this key work, the sale also includes a "mere" fifteen or so lots, but of what quality! A Gai-Luron cover, a Pervers Pépère gag, with a Fluide glacial cover, as well as a very famous Rhâ-Gnagna gag, which is reproduced below and demonstrates just how sharp Gotlib's humour is.
