Presentation

Huberty & Breyne gallery is very happy to participate for the first time this year to the Modern and Contemporary art fair Art Elysées, which will be held in Paris from 19 to 23 October 2017.
This is a great opportunity for art collectors and professionals to admire the works of unique comics artists. It is also a strong way of affirming that the world of comic art has found its place on the art market.
For this event, Alain Huberty and Marc Breyne decided to honor the work of Philippe Geluck, whose comic album Chacun son chat has just been released. Alongside his successful published work, the Belgian artist creates original works that are much appreciated by collectors.
Always mischievous and surprising with all techniques, Philippe Geluck never stops innovating. It is with a lot of mischievousness that this cartoonist, painter and visual artist pays tribute to the masters of contemporary painting and questions us philosophically about our daily life, featuring his favorite feline.
Art Elysées will be an opportunity for the public to discover his new creations, illustrations, bronzes and resins of different sizes, on the booth of our gallery.
