Eric Liot is an “Illuminator, assembler, creator of contemporary myths, humourist switching between insolence and amusement” – an artist in the Narrative Figuration and Pop Art mould who, for over twenty years, has been using and abusing popular images, advertising and contemporary myths, adapting them to his own purposes and incorporating them into a carefully orchestrated composition.
