The Tillieux family and the Huberty & Breyne Gallery are delighted to be showing, in their entirety, the original Gil Jourdan pages from the album " L’Enfer de Xique-Xique ".
True to its focus on the relationship between Comic Strip and Contemporary Art, the gallery has invited the artists José Garcia Cordero and Pascal Bernier to pay homage, each in his own fashion, to the creator of Gil Jourdan.
The result is a three-way conversation between Maurice Tillieux' original plates, Caribbean artist José Garcia Cordero’s cactus groves and Belgian artist Pascal Bernier’s paintings created from enlarged panels from the album.
